Operates and troubleshoots production line machinery and computers. Perform minor repairs as necessary.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Areas Of Responsibility \/ Tasks<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate production line machinery.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for Quality control.<\/li>\n<li>Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specification.<\/li>\n<li>Reject product outside of specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).<\/li>\n<li>Complete daily production logs.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with operators from other shifts.<\/li>\n<li>Clean and maintain work areas.<\/li>\n<li>Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>N5 or N6 Electrical Engineering, Light Current.<\/li>\n<li>Certified Copies of ID, Matric and Tertiary certificates as well as Transcripts or academic record must be attached.<\/li>\n<li>Experience &#8211;\u00a0 None, training will be provided<\/li>\n<li>Application will only be considered from South African\u00a0 Citizens<\/li>\n<li>Only females may apply.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who stay around Midrand, Tembisa and Pretoria Central will be mostly preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p>All applications must be e-mailed to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Nompumelelo.Siluma@landisgyr.com\">Nompumelelo.Siluma@landisgyr.com<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0or faxed to\u00a0<b>0866856382<\/b>\u00a0no later than the closing date.<\/p>\n<p><b>Location:\u00a0<\/b>Centurion<b><br \/>\nClosing Date:<\/b>\u00a024 January 2014<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are invited from the following graduates for a Line Operator opportunity within Landis + Gyr: Electrical Engineering Graduates with N5 or N6 Light Current.
