Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Establish and Determine facility requirements for the manufacturing processes for Component manufacture.
\n\u2022Liaise with Internal and External Customers including the Volkswagen Group regarding Engineering and Quality specifications and requirements.
\n\u2022Conduct costing enquiry\u2019s to Establish Costs for the purchase \/ manufacture of facilities
\n\u2022Prepare clear and complete technical data to establish processes.
\n\u2022Approve Tool \/ Facility Design with regards to Function, Work Flow and Specifications for Manufacture
\n\u2022Establish all processes and introduction in Production Areas
\n\u2022Co-ordinate machinery and equipment Buy-off and Acceptance
\n\u2022Maintain and operate change control for documentation auditing
\n\u2022Ensure Production and Process Stability
\n\u2022Improve general condition and utilisation of facilities within allocated budget
\n\u2022Responsible for the disposals of obsolete facilities, equipment and the outsourcing of facilities
\n\u2022Co-ordinate and assist in the Training of Users in their Business Processes and SAP Functionality
\n\u2022Represent and co-ordinate the Business interests by ensuring that SAP functionality for all business activities best fit the Business requirements and resolve all SAP related Business Process issues.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Education and Experience <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022National Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering
\n\u2022Qualified Toolmaker\/Jigs & Fixture\/Patternmaker\/Machinist
\n\u20225 Years\u2019 experience as an artisan in Tool room (including Tool Design and Lay-out of Tools, Heavy Press Tools Manufacture, Machining, Works Preparation, Try-out section) VERY ESSENTIAL<\/p>\n

Skills, Attributes & Other requirements <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Sound communication skills at all levels is a pre-requisite
\n\u2022Computer literacy (VW Mainframe (SAP), Windows, MS Office)
\n\u2022Thorough knowledge of material specification
\n\u2022Proven analytical and innovative approach to problem-solving<\/p>\n
