The incumbent is responsible for the procurement of all materials, equipment and services required by the Mill, which is not purchased on a corporate wide basis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<div id=\"job_details_ats_requisition_description\">\n<p><strong>Main Purpose of the job<\/strong><br \/>\nThe incumbent is responsible for the procurement of all materials, equipment and services required by the Mill, which is not purchased on a corporate wide basis.\u00a0 These purchases require the exercise of independent judgment and\/or functional work direction of department members to ensure the combination of quality, service and price is optimized.\u00a0 Also responsible for Vendor quality Management Programs &amp; Partnerships to support the business and production.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Procure goods and services from approved vendor list, local and overseas, and maintain adequate sources of supply to ensure that the function\u2019s (requisitioners) requirements for assigned materials, equipment and services are obtained in an efficient manner<\/li>\n<li>Constantly evaluating new sources of supply and forward to\u00a0 Mill<\/li>\n<li>Purchasing Manager \/ internal customers for approval.\u00a0 This tasks needs to be performed within KCSA\u2019s sourcing strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to procedures and controls for the Enstra Mill<\/li>\n<li>Purchasing function to ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with ethical standards and practices and compliance with KCSA\u2019s Code of Conduct.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure establishment &amp; proper implementation of procedures&amp; controls for all of the Company\u2019s Purchasing activities.<\/li>\n<li>Administer Purchasing function administration duties, i.e. vendor file maintenance, Open order management, maintain purchasing filing system, effective expediting of open orders and vendor assessment and evaluation system.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in regular and effective cross-functional teamwork with key customers (internal &amp; external) to ensure support and commitment to business objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Implement Sourcing Strategies, short, medium and long term to contribute to the Company\u2019s operating profit and working capital objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Implement plans to increase sourcing activity with B BEE suppliers whom will contribute to our cost and product quality objectives and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Implement Vendor Partnerships to maximize cost, product quality and lead-time reduction opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Actively drive the Vendor Quality management Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Job Requirements\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"job_details_ats_requisition_requirements\">\n<p><strong>Essential Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\nRelevant degree in Procurement \/ Supply Chain<br \/>\nPost Graduate qualification\u2019s<br \/>\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills<br \/>\nSuccessful at interacting, influencing and persuading at all levels<br \/>\nFluent in English<br \/>\nStrong sense of accountability<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies \/ Skills<\/strong><br \/>\nEffective communication &amp; Negotiation skills.<br \/>\nAbility to analyse supplier pricing information &amp; data into financial impact on KC business.<br \/>\nManage self-development<br \/>\nIntegration with the broader team<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>How to apply<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kimberlyclark.hua.hrsmart.com\/hr\/ats\/Posting\/view\/143\" target=\"_new\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Closing Date: Unspecified<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kimberly-Clark is looking for a Graduate Trainee Mill Buyer for the Epping Mill in Cape Town.
