3M is seeking a Sales & Marketing Supervisor (C3SD)for the Healthcare Group located in Woodmead, Sandton<\/p>\n

The position of Sales & Marketing Manager (C3SD) is located in Woodmead and will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:<\/p>\n
Develop and implement C3SD Marketing plan. Manage product manager duties (including industry and competitor activity, champion new product introduction, product cycle management make inventory and buffer stock and forecast decisions with supply chain), develop promotional campaigns, provide marketing and sales support to business unit, manage customer portfolio to maximise value, develop relationships and work closely with sales, technical and customer base.<\/p>\n
SPECIFIC COMPLEXITY<\/p>\n
Detailed product knowledge required. Must be able to implement pricing and product positioning strategy in markets where C3SD products are applied, must be able to offer alternative solutions, especially when combating competitive activity. Detailed knowledge in businesses that are operating in is essential. Must be able to demonstrate thought and creativity in implementing marketing strategy. Must be able to show independent thought .<\/p>\n
PERSON PROFILE What is required to perform the job effectively under each of the following headings:<\/p>\n
1. Education
\n– BCom Marketing \/ IMM Diploma
\n– Woundcare knowledge \/ experience favourable.<\/p>\n
2. Experience
\n– Min 5 years experience in healthcare or similar industry.
\n– Min 5 years experience in marketing and product\/category management.
\n– Management experience<\/p>\n
3. Knowledge
\n– Healthcare \/ similar market.<\/p>\n
4. Key Capabilities
\n-Independent strategic thought, creativity in developing and implementing marketing plans.
\n-Must be able to make decisions
\n-Must be able to communicate with sales force, technical staff and support functions
\n-Must be able to develop relationships with customers
\n– Analytical and be able to process large volumes of information and data.<\/p>\n
