{"id":16462,"date":"2014-01-24T11:43:28","date_gmt":"2014-01-24T09:43:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=16462"},"modified":"2016-11-11T12:40:58","modified_gmt":"2016-11-11T10:40:58","slug":"csir-cs-service-traineeship-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/csir-cs-service-traineeship-2014.html","title":{"rendered":"CSIR: CS \/ IT In-Service Traineeship 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CSIR: Meraka Institute has a number of vacancies for\u00a0<strong>In-service Trainees.<\/strong>\u00a0The unit positions itself as the strategic science, engineering and technology (SET) partner of state departments, particularly, the department of Science and Technology.<\/p>\n<p>The unit has a number of positions for outstanding undergraduate students in the following competency domains:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Computer Science<\/li>\n<li>Information Technology<\/li>\n<li>Information Systems<\/li>\n<li>Electronic Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Other related areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, plan and execute (development) research projects under supervision;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in technology testing;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the writing of reports and manuscripts;<\/li>\n<li>Present data and results in a poster format or orally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The minimum education qualification is at least two years\u2019 completed theoretical component of a national diploma or a Bachelor\u2019s degree in all the disciplines listed above.
