\nThe Chief Teller reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for:
\n\u2022 customer service
\n\u2022 supervision and management of production and auxiliary staff
\n\u2022 operational management,
\n\u2022 financial- and stock management
\n\u2022 housekeeping<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
\n\u2022 Financial and stock management
\n\u2022 Staff Management
\n\u2022 Operational management:<\/p>\n\n
\n\u2022 Diploma with Financial, Banking or Operational Management focus or NQF 5 equivalent will be an added advantage
\n\u2022 Level B drivers license will be an added
\n\u2022 3- 4 years operational experience in consumer services.
\n\u2022 Supervisory\/management experience within a Post Office Branch will be an advantage
\n\u2022 Operational process and policies
\n\u2022 Relevant operational knowledge
\n\u2022 Knowledge of stock and cash management
\n\u2022 Fulfill the terms of FAIS, any related legislation or regulation and any guidelines or regulations issued by the Financial Services Board
\n\u2022 Operational system knowledge
\n\u2022 Product knowledge
\n\u2022 POS and Post Office specific system knowledge
\n\u2022 Knowledge of all relevant legislation (e.g. FICA, FAIS, PFMA, OHSA etc.) – if applicant do not comply, this may
\nbe regarded as a development area
\n\u2022 General knowledge of contracts and SLAs
\n\u2022 Knowledge of staff and resource management
\n\u2022 Ability to deal with grievance and disciplinary matters
\n\u2022 Knowledge of basic financial management
\n\u2022 Knowledge of customer services management
\n\u2022 Internal policies and procedures
\n\u2022 Knowledge of internal SLAs
\n\u2022 Work study principles<\/p>\n
