During the 12 month placement you will receive invaluable experience working within Vodacom on a variety of interesting projects.<\/p>\n<p><b>Objectives<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop a talent pipeline of skilled individuals for the core business areas at Vodacom<\/li>\n<li>Create an opportunity for graduates with the required qualifications to develop competence in the telecommunications environment<\/li>\n<li>Focus on the development of various skills required within the total telecommunications environment<\/li>\n<li>Raise both the candidate\u2019s commercial awareness and interpersonal skills to new levels so that they able to perform effectively within the environment<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are looking for driven, ambitious and competitive interns who are innovative, customer obsessed and not afraid to challenge our existing way of thinking.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a passion for Technology and working with customers then Vodacom is the place for you!<\/p>\n<p>We will accept applications from a number Degree \/Diploma disciplines that have been obtained or be completing their Degree\/ Diploma in 2014 in any of the following:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Engineering (Light current)<\/li>\n<li>N6 Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Civil Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Quantity Surveying<\/li>\n<li>Architecture<\/li>\n<li>Town planning<\/li>\n<li>Project Management<\/li>\n<li>Computer Science<\/li>\n<li>BComm Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Commercial &amp; Sales<\/li>\n<li>Marketing, Retail, Brand Management<\/li>\n<li>Business Management<\/li>\n<li>BA Communications<\/li>\n<li>Building Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>You also need to be willing to sign a 12 month fixed term contract of employement and be fully eligible to work in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>*Applicants cannot be current permanent employees of Vodacom SA<\/p>\n<p><strong>So what do you get out of it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Along with working in one of the top branded companies worldwide, you will also work in a state of the art office with the opportunity to make an impression on the business, g<strong>ain valuable work experience and enhance both technical and corporate skills, develop a real understanding of area of work so the candidates can make informed career decisions and build contacts and networks within Vodacom<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you up for the challenge?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications are open from 7th February 2014 closing on 14th February 2014.
