{"id":16720,"date":"2014-02-11T12:43:00","date_gmt":"2014-02-11T10:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=16720"},"modified":"2014-02-11T12:43:00","modified_gmt":"2014-02-11T10:43:00","slug":"acquisition-management-specialist-3-vacancies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/acquisition-management-specialist-3-vacancies.html","title":{"rendered":"Acquisition Management Specialist &#8211; 3 Vacancies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>South African State Information Technology Agency (SITA) Vacancies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>REFERENCE NR : SAM\/2014\/01\/ SCM<br \/>\nJOB TITLE : Specialist: Acquisition Management X 3<br \/>\nJOB LEVEL : C5<br \/>\nSALARY : R 310 809, 33 \u2013 R 414 412, 44<br \/>\nREPORTS TO : Consultant: Acquisition Management<br \/>\nDIVISION : Supply Chain Management<br \/>\nDEPT : Acquisition Management<br \/>\nLOCATION : Erasmuskloof<br \/>\nPOSITION STATUS : PERMANENT (Internal and External)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the job<\/strong><br \/>\nTo source the best Information Communication Technology goods and services at best value for SITA and government and focus on the most priority ICT areas for government.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibility Area<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Communicate with stakeholders throughout the acquisition management process thereby enhancing relations with end user\u2019s; Coordinate and ensure the promotion of BEE and SMME suppliers within the SCM process in order to develop the indigenous ICT sector; Execute the end to end acquisition management process through effective management of the procurement processes and overall life cycle management of the contract in order to achieve economies of scale and ensure compliance to regulations, and any instructions issued by National Treasury from time to time; Conduct and review contract performance regularly in order to maximise benefit and value in the operationalisation of the contract.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recommended: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Commerce and\/or equivalent; Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Management\/ Logistics\/ Public Finance and\/ or Commercial Law; Registration with Supply Chain Management professional bodies will serve as an added advantage; Experience: 6 &#8211; 8 years experience within the Supply Chain Management and Procurement environment in the Corporate\/ Public Sector organization as a specialist sourcing specialist.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Technical Competencies Description<br \/>\nPublic Financial Management Act; Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act; Black Economic Empowerment; Broad Black Based Economic Empowerment; Treasury Regulations; Basic IT knowledge Treasury Regulations; Basic IT knowledge.
