Reporting to the Online News Editor: eNCA Online, your key performance areas will include:<\/p>\n
Identify stories in line with editorial policy and aims
\nPrepare morning stories and morning handover
\nConstant monitoring of wire feeds
\nAlert broader team to breaking new stories
\nWrite web- ready pieces using broadcast source material
\nSource visuals from archives when needed
\nLiaise with Television side of the business to ensure relevant content is reflected on website
\nUpload stories are tagged and effectively linked to other relevant content
\nTechnical troubleshooting
\nAssist with content for social network sites, including Twitter and Facebook
\nMake calls to emergency services and SAPS<\/p>\n
