Our bursaries cover:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration and tuition fees for the duration of the course<\/li>\n<li>Residence fees<\/li>\n<li>Cash allowance<\/li>\n<li>Personal computer allowance from second year of study<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Should you be awarded an Implats bursary, you will be required to work for the company for the full period of the bursary and to undertake vacation work at the company at the end of each year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Implats Offers Bursaries In Various Fields:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Engineering<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Mining<\/li>\n<li>Metallurgy<\/li>\n<li>Chemical<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical<\/li>\n<li>Electrical (heavy current)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chemistry<\/strong>\u00a0to honours level<\/li>\n<li><strong>Geology<\/strong>\u00a0to honours level<\/li>\n<li><strong>Accounting<\/strong>\u00a0to honors level<\/li>\n<li><strong>Survey<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Human Resources<\/strong>\u00a0Bcom to honors level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What We Are Looking For<\/h3>\n<p>Implats is looking for people who<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are able to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>have leadership potential, combined with the ability to work in a team<\/li>\n<li>have good problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>are tenacious<\/li>\n<li>have common sense<\/li>\n<li>are able to make decisions and to think logically<\/li>\n<li>are self-motivated, and<\/li>\n<li>have good communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply For A Bursary<\/h3>\n<p>If you meet the minimum criteria and you would like to apply for a bursary, please fill in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.implats.co.za\/implats\/downloads\/2011\/careers\/Application_and_bursary_form_july_2011.pdf\" rel=\"external\">application form<\/a>\u00a0(PDF \u2013 100KB).
