Valid Code B\/EB driver\u2019s licence. Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Render a high standard of health education and support service to clients. <\/p>\n Instruction to Applicants:<\/strong><\/p>\n Z.83 forms (obtainable from any Government department or www.westerncape.gov.za) must:<\/p>\n Be completed in full, clearly reflect the name of the position, name and date of the publication (candidates may use this as reference), be signed, accompanied by a comprehensive CV, the names of three referees, and certified copies of ID, driver’s licence and qualification\/s. As directed by the Department of Public Service & Administration, applicants must note that further checks will be conducted once they are shortlisted and that their appointment is subject to positive outcomes on these checks, which include security clearance, qualification verification, criminal records, credit records and previous employment.<\/p>\n Circular H8\/2004 dated 8 February 2004 contains complete details regarding the revised non-pensionable recruitment allowance (rural allowance) for certain categories of Health personnel.<\/p>\n Candidates must refer to this Bulletin and the date thereof. \nComputer literacy.
\nKnowledge of project planning and management.
\nDuties (key result areas\/outputs):<\/p>\n
\nPlan and implement health projects in facilities, schools, and communities to meet health objectives.
\nLiaise with community\u2019s health co-ordinating structures, departments, local government and other stakeholders to promote integrated approach to health care.
\nAn efficient support service to the Health Facility Manager with respect to the adaptation of broad departmental policy to conform to the health educational\/promotional needs of patients and the surrounding community.
\nMonitor, evaluate, develop and implement service delivery programmes.
\nEnsure effective and efficient utilisation of all available resources.
\nEnsure a purposeful integration of health education and promotion service provision with services provided (health facility, stakeholders and other community based services).<\/p>\n
