\nKey Requirements<\/strong>
\n\u00b7 South African Citizen with a valid Passport
\n\u00b7 National Diploma qualification or equivalent, preferably in a Sales or Operations
\n\u00b7 At least 10 years experience working in the field of Sales\/ Aviation management
\n\u00b7 Proven and demonstrable experience of managing sales and operations
\n\u00b7 Proven and demonstrable experience of driving sales targets
\n\u00b7 Excellent writing skills.
\n\u00b7 Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
\n\u00b7 Computer literate with good MS Office Skills.
\n\u00b7 Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to influence across the organization and
\nexternally.
\n\u00b7 Confidence to represent SA Express externally
\n\u00b7 High level of diplomacy<\/p>\n
\nSummary of Key Responsibilities<\/strong>
\nStrategy
\n\u00b7 Develop and implement a sales strategy and activity plan to defend and grow the airline\u2019s sales\u00a0and market share in each country,
\n\u00b7 Strategically monitor Lesotho market and continuously review sales outcomes with regard to\u00a0set budgets and route profitability and recommend opportunities for improvement to\u00a0management ,
\n\u00b7 Develop and maintain country-wide networks and relationships<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Develop and implement strategy for Lesotho ,
\n\u00b7 Monitor, review and update the strategy accordingly.<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Strategic execution of the sales strategy,
\n\u00b7 Define and track performance for trade,
\n\u00b7 Define and track performance for corporate clients,
\n\u00b7 Define and track performance for all market segments as defined in the Business plan
\n\u00b7 Manage and drive sales<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Detail analysis and interpretation of route performance
\n\u00b7 Provide statistical and analytical data on a regular basis as required, i.e. daily, weekly, monthly\u00a0utilising available sources, e.g. PAX-IS, BSP data
\n\u00b7 Conduct route profitability in order to diagnose problems and opportunities
\n\u00b7 Ensure that market research and competitor analysis is continuously conducted and develop\u00a0and implement strategies aligned to research findings<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Strategically monitor both the Lesotho market,
\n\u00b7 Review sales and marketing outcomes to the agreed budgets and route profitability,
\n\u00b7 Recommend opportunities for profitable business to DM Regional Expansion:<\/p>\n\n
\n\u00b7 Proactively monitor Lesotho route performance ,
\n\u00b7 Ensure that financial and other systems and controls are in place and in-line with governance\u00a0practices and company policies,<\/p>\n
\no Work with Revenue management\/ DM Regional Expansion on route pricing and ways to\u00a0maximize yields and revenue per flights
\no Periodic pre-flight control in order to reduce no-shows,
\no Weekly and monthly report to Divisional Manager<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Compile annual Regional route budget,
\n\u00b7 Work with revenue and scheduling to compile budgets,
\n\u00b7 Analysis of the previous years and current budget,

\n\u00b7 Compile budget assumptions for the Region,
\n\u00b7 Cost containment to support airline\u2019s overall objective: by closing monitoring and adherence to\u00a0the budget
\n\u00b7 Prepare and manage annual cost budgets<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Develop and implement a integrated customer service plan for the entire customer service\u00a0value chain:
\nCustomer Complaints Management
\n\u00b7 Respond to input from customers (complaints, praise and concerns),
\n\u00b7 Enhance communication to customers with regards to irregular operations,
\n\u00b7 Determine quick-response to deal with immediate customer issues as they arise,
\n\u00b7 Identify root causes of issues and provide proposals to the management team for improving\u00a0the system\/s and service\/s
\nReports
\n\u00b7 Provide monthly performance evaluations and develop action plans to meet service standards,
\ntimelines, accuracy, productivity and business goals,
\n\u00b7 Monthly reports on customer complaints and customer complaints management ,<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Management reservations office in order to ensure that the department is manned in a
\nprofessional and efficient manner<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Maintain and manage dialogue through regular face to face contact with key players in the
\nrelevant government and other strategic partners to identify, lobby, influence and promote the\u00a0SA Express operations in the country ,
\n\u00b7 Develop and maintain country wide networks and relationships ( government, airlines etc ) in
\nthe respective countries,<\/p>\n
