{"id":16982,"date":"2014-03-10T04:15:43","date_gmt":"2014-03-10T02:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=16982"},"modified":"2016-07-07T00:35:56","modified_gmt":"2016-07-06T22:35:56","slug":"nersa-learnership-programme-recruitment-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/nersa-learnership-programme-recruitment-2014.html","title":{"rendered":"NERSA Learnership Programme Recruitment 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">The Energy Regulator wishes to recruit learners for its Learnership Programme, with effect from April 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>NERSA\u2019s Learnership Programme is aimed at providing young graduates from further education and training institutions and universities with access to theoretical training and on-the-job experience in order to prepare them for future employment opportunities. The Programme will also assist NERSA in building a pool of scarce skills from which it can recruit employees based on its operational requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The duration of the NERSA Learnership Programme will be 12 months. Learners chosen will be required to enter into a 12-month contract with NERSA (with no guarantee of permanent employment thereafter, but the opportunity will be considered on merit).<\/p>\n<p>The Learnership Programme will be provided in the regulatory functions, namely Electricity, Piped-gas and Petroleum Pipelines industries.<\/p>\n<p>Learners will obtain a National Certificate in Energy Regulation after successful completion of the Learnership Programme. Learners will not receive a salary but will be awarded a stipend of R4 950.00 a month for the duration of the Learnership Programme.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>R<\/strong><strong>equirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduates in the following fields\/disciplines: Engineering (Electrical, Chemical and Industrial); Economics; and Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Between the ages of 21 and 30<\/li>\n<li>The ability to speak, read and write in English<\/li>\n<li>A completed degree or diploma or relevant FET Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Must not be studying at any other institution<\/li>\n<li>Must not be registered for any other learnership<\/li>\n<li>Must not have a criminal record<\/li>\n<li>Province of origin must be indicated on CV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><em>How To Apply<\/em><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.humanjobs.co.za\/jobdetails.php?j=741&amp;gc=1\">Apply Online<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you have not heard from us within 1 month of the closing date, please consider your application as unsuccessful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Pretoria<br \/>\n<strong>Closing Date:<\/strong>\u00a014 March 2014<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Energy Regulator wishes to recruit learners for its Learnership Programme, with effect from April 2014.
