{"id":17046,"date":"2014-03-14T05:27:05","date_gmt":"2014-03-14T03:27:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=17046"},"modified":"2014-03-14T05:27:05","modified_gmt":"2014-03-14T03:27:05","slug":"procurement-manager-vacancy-acsa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/procurement-manager-vacancy-acsa.html","title":{"rendered":"Procurement Manager Vacancy at ACSA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">King Shaka<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Key Performance Outputs:<\/p>\n<p>Manage Request For Bids\/Proposals (RFX) processes and review and\/or approve all documents going out for quotations, tender and\/or adverts and submissions to the tender committee.<br \/>\nManage human capital by ensuring that the procurement staff keeps abreast of all the new developments in the Supply Chain Environment.<br \/>\nEnsure that Request For Bids\/Proposals (RFX) lead times are adhered to (order fill rate, requisition, purchase orders, contracts) and manage buyers KPI\u00e2\u0080\u0099s.<br \/>\nReporting<br \/>\nMonitor adherence and compliance by buyers and business to internal procurement policies and procedures.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with Legislations relating to Procurement activities.<br \/>\nEnsure the efficient management and control of function \/ resources in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, fraud prevention and risk management principles, corporate governance, legislation, company policies, processes, regulations, Delegation of Authority, etc.<br \/>\nManage procurement escalations from end users.<br \/>\nReview contracts and all procurement documents before relevant signatures.<br \/>\nRespond to supplier queries.<br \/>\nParticipate in contract negotiations and tender negotiations.<br \/>\nManage and promote spend with BEE suppliers and SMEs.<br \/>\nIdentify repeated requests that can be established into contracts<br \/>\nTechnical Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n<p>BTech or BCom Degree with Supply Chain or Logistics and Purchasing \u00c2 Management as a major<br \/>\n5-10 years Procurement Management experience in a medium to large organisation<br \/>\nAdvanced knowledge of all Logistics and Purchasing operational processes.<br \/>\nKnowledge of rules, policies and procedures \u00c2 \u00c2 related to Procurement function. \u00c2<br \/>\nKnowledge of International Procurement.<br \/>\nA thorough knowledge and understanding of the relevant system functionality \/ specifications<br \/>\nProficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Projects.<br \/>\nWorking on Oracle System Application will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will portray exceptional leadership and management skills.\u00c2 The candidate must be a creative thinker, able to think strategically and analytically and have excellent problem solving skills. The candidate must be computer literate.
