Purpose Formulate Technology Strategy in line with IT and business strategy<\/p>\n

Duties & Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Formulate Technology Strategy in line with IT and business strategy
\n\u2022 Formulate Policies and procedures and the standards regarding systems and technology
\n\u2022 Monthly reporting to the Group IT Manager
\n\u2022 Input to Contract Management with external service providers and vendors
\n\u2022 Management of service delivery and support from vendors and service providers
\n\u2022 Maintain secure, available and expandable infrastructure and systems
\n\u2022 Maintain existing information systems, upgrading current software for different operating systems, utilities, databases and networks.
\n\u2022 Liaise with the IT Solutions Architects and System Architects to define and optimize architecture and systems landscape
\n\u2022 Formulate lifecycle plan for all information and technology assets
\n\u2022 Formulate assets lifecycle process
\n\u2022 Provide consulting services and technical advice on IT related matters
\n\u2022 Negotiate priorities of new requests with clients and ICT Operations Manager
\n\u2022 Liaise with IT Solutions Architects and Systems Architects for Project management of all new enterprise project
\n\u2022 Formulate plans to minimize risk of external threats and internal threats to system availability, integrity and confidentiality.
\n\u2022 Manage all data backups and ensure all backup processes meet regulatory requirements
\n\u2022 Formulate disaster recovery plans and IT continuity plans
\n\u2022 Provide input to management of IT fixed Costs and CAPEX
\n\u2022 Accurate operation budget proposals
\n\u2022 Accurate management of actual cost
\n\u2022 Effective and efficient application of available funds
\n\u2022 Investigate, review and recommend the purchase of hardware, software, program updates and related equipment and peripherals<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Required Qualification & Skills <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Relevant B degree in information systems or similar qualification
\n\u2022 5 Years technical support experience in service desk environment
\n\u2022 Ability to render 3rd line support and assist technicians with problem solving of complex technical issues
\n\u2022 Specific technologies:
\n\u2022 Microsoft Window Server operation systems
\n\u2022 Microsoft Exchange
\n\u2022 Microsoft SQL server
\n\u2022 Microsoft Active Directory
\n\u2022 Microsoft SharePoint
\n\u2022 Virtualization
\n\u2022 Shared Storage
\n\u2022 LAN, WAN, VPN, Diginet, ADSL
\n\u2022 Firewalls and Proxy
\n\u2022 Mobile Technology<\/p>\n
