DUTIES : The successful candidate will be responsible for, amongst others, the following

\nensure compliance with Immigration Act on entry and departure \u2022 Ensure that all
\ntravellers who contravened the validity of their permits are issued with prescribed
\nadministrative fines \u2022 Oversee the issuing of cross border permits to all eligible
\ntravellers in accordance with the Immigration Act \u2022 Ensure the effective issuing
\nof emergency travel documents to eligible RSA citizens in accordance with SA
\nPassport and Travel Documents Act \u2022 Ensure the effective determination of
\nguarantees and deposits \u2022 Ensure effective processing of inadmissible or
\nundesirable persons on arrival who are refused to enter the country \u2022 Ensure
\neffective processing of prohibited persons on departure who are refused to leave
\nthe country \u2022 Ensure effective processing of castaways, stowaways and
\ndeserters. Issue penalties to airline that contravene the Immigration Act \u2022
