REQUIREMENTS : Equity Requirements: Coloured or Indian Male \/ Female A Grade 12 Certificate \u2022 Relevant knowledge of Records Management \u2022 Knowledge and understanding of Departmental policies and procedures \u2022 Acceptable written and verbal communication skills \u2022 1 -2 years\u2019 Administration experience with specific experience in filing, knowledge of Civic Services Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be and added advantage\u2022 Computer literacy \u2022 Willingness to work irregular hours, weekends and overtime. Preference will be given to candidates from the local area where the post is located.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

DUTIES : The successful candidate will be responsible for amongst others the following specific tasks: \u2022 Receiving, opening, sorting and despatching of Birth, Marriages and Deaths mail received from front offices \u2022 Retrieval of records manually and electronically \u2022 Filing of records, capturing of Birth, Marriages and Deaths applications on the Track and Trace system \u2022 Handling of courier services \u2022 Creating and tracing of amendment files \u2022 Adhere to agreed service standards, ensure and maintain a high quality level in records keeping \u2022 Hand over non-standards queries, requests and special cases to supervisors \u2022 Assist with any duties as may be required by management in the quest for service delivery excellence \u2022 Adhere to disciplinary code, code of conduct and all operational manuals provided by the Department \u2022 Compile daily statistics and submit to supervisors as and when required.<\/p>\n

SALARY : R138 345 to R162 963 per annum (Level 6). In addition, a range of competitive benefits are offered.
