The incumbent will be responsible for support to CSIR: Strategic Partnerships to effectively develop collaborative programmes with partners and to monitor and report ongoing research activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Source data and compile information for the preparation of research collaboration reports.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for meetings with the key stakeholders to scope areas of collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare internal and external workshops to develop joint research programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare minutes of meetings and workshop reports, and monitor implementation of tasks agreed to at workshops and meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a current database of the most active research relationships with key partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Qualification<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>At least a first degree or equivalent in any field relating to science, engineering and technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Experience<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous vacation work would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to write clearly and concisely.<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).<\/li>\n<li>Basic organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform routine tasks with minimum supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Sound communication and writing ability.<\/li>\n<li>Lateral thinking ability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/candidate.csir.co.za\/psp\/hr91prd_cgw\/EMPLOYEE\/HRMS\/c\/HRS_HRAM.HRS_CE.GBL?Page=HRS_CE_JOB_DTL&amp;Action=A&amp;JobOpeningId=304033&amp;SiteId=1&amp;PostingSeq=1\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Online<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Closing Date:\u00a0<\/b>11 April 2014<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CSIR\u2019s Strategic Alliance and Communication portfolio has a vacancy for an Internship.
