The Gauteng Provincial Legislature (GPL) has Internship opportunities in the following:<\/b><\/p>\n
Business Areas:<\/b><\/p>\n
1. Audit Risk and Governance (Preferred Qualification:- B-Degree with Risk Management as a major)<\/p>\n
2. Planning and Budgeting (Preferred Qualification:- B- Degree \/ National Diploma in Management Accounting, Economics or equivalent)<\/p>\n
3. Administration (Preferred Qualification:- National Diploma or B-Degree with Office Management or equivalent)<\/p>\n
4. Parliamentary Business (Preferred Qualification:- Matric Certificate and \/ or Diploma or Degree in any of the following fields \u2013 Law, Political Science, Development Studies, Social Science, Public Administration)<\/p>\n

Internship Logistics<\/b><\/p>\n
The 12 month internship programme will commence on 1 May 2014 until 30 April 2015.<\/i><\/p>\n
Interns will receive a stipend of R4 000 per month and are encouraged to send their CV\u2019s before or on 17 April 2014 to be considered for shortlisting.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n
Applicants must have a qualification in one of the fields listed. To apply, submit a detailed CV, certified copies of certificates, transcripts, identity document and a cover letter to the GPL by no later than\u00a0CLOSE OF BUSINESS 17 APRIL 2014.<\/b><\/p>\n
Failure to submit required documents will result in the application not being considered. A candidate that was previously employed under any internship programme or currently employed will not be considered.<\/p>\n
It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).<\/p>\n
