\nSALARY : R 170 799 per annum
\nCENTRE : Caledon Hospital, Theewaterskloof Sub-district
\nREQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent). Experience:
\nExperience of PERSAL Salary Systems and Personnel Management and\u00a0Recruitment and Selection. Competencies (knowledge\/skills): Good written and\u00a0communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western\u00a0Cape. Extensive PERSAL knowledge and experience. Computer skills in MS\u00a0Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook and PERSAL. Proven\u00a0knowledge of and exposure to the duties and responsibilities of a personnel\u00a0administration section. Knowledge of applicable policies, legislation, guidelines,\u00a0standards, procedures and applicable practices. Ability to maintain confidentiality.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key result areas\/outputs: Manage an effective personnel and salary
\nadministration function in the Human Resource Component. Co-ordinate and
\nfacilitate effective Labour Relations function at the institution. Co-ordinate and
\nfacilitate the HRD functions at the institution. Administer and ensure effective and
\nefficient implementation of Human Resource Management policies and
\nprescripts. Approve PERSAL transactions. Train all occupational groups at the
\ninstitution regarding HR matters. Keep registers of Human Resource matters, i.e.
\nPILLIR, RWOPS and Probation reports.
