SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICER: FINANCE
\nSALARY : R 212 106 per annum
\nCENTRE : Tygerberg Hospital, Parow Valley<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with
\nMathematics and\/or Accounting as a passed subject and\/or Senior Certificate (or
\nequivalent) with experience\/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance
\nAreas of the post. Experience: Extensive experience in Patient Administration.
\nCompetencies (knowledge\/skills): Knowledge of a Health Information system.
\nKnowledge of a patient fee structure. Abreast with Patient Administration policies
\nand procedures. Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of
\nthe three official languages of the Western Cape. Good interpersonal skills and
\nthe ability to act independently or as a team, objectively and with confidence.
\nComputer literate (Microsoft Office). Ability to work under pressure, handle a high
\nwork volume and meet strict deadlines.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Key result areas\/outputs: Manage the correct application of Patient
\nAdministration policies and procedures pertaining to the registration, admission
\nand attendance procedures of all patients, Uniform Patient Fee Schedule (UPFS)
\naccounts and specialised offices. Ensure UPFS accounts are accurate and
\ntimeously submitted to Fees. Monitor, evaluate stats and implement action plans
\nwhere necessary. Responsible for the supervision of Patient Administration staff
\nas per HR policies. Plan and monitor internal and external training program of
\nstaff. Comply with the Code of Conduct regarding the Discipline and Grievance
\nprocedures. Timeous completion of enquiries.<\/p>\n
