REQUIREMENTS : Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor\u2019s degree or National diploma in
\nHuman Resources Management (HRM). Experience in the HRM environment
\nwith proven experience in Recruitment and Selection (R&S). Knowledge and
\napplication of the following legislatory frameworks: the Public Service Act, 1994
\n(Act 103 of 1994) and its Regulations, the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (Act 66 of
\n1995) (LRA) and the Employment Equity Act, 1998 (Act 55 of 1998) (EEA).
\nKnowledge of policy interpretation. Ability to interact and advise clients on R&S
\npolicies and procedures in a professional manner. Ability to identify risks in the
\nR&S environment and find solutions in challenging situations. Good
\ncommunication (verbal and written) skills. Good interpersonal relations and
\ninterviewing skills. Good computer skills in MS Office software. Applicants must
\nbe willing to travel to Regional offices when required.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : The incumbent will be responsible to coordinate R&S in the Department.
\nCoordinate the compilation of advertisements and applications to fill a post in line
\nwith legislation, prescripts and delegations. Render secretariat services at
\nshortlisting and interviews. Facilitate personnel suitability checks on all shortlisted
\ncandidates. Draft appointment submissions to the delegated authority. Implement
\nand maintain R&S policies, procedures and practices. Coordinate information
\nsessions on R&S matters in the Department in order to contribute to effective and
\nwell informed Officials. Render advisory services to management on R&S
\nmatters. Maintain and update R&S databases. Maintain the R&S information
\nsystem and provide statistical information.<\/p>\n
