REQUIREMENTS : A 3 year Degree or National Diploma in Accounting\/ Financial Management with
\nat least 3 years experience in the accounting\/financial management field.
\nAlternatively, a Grade 12 Certificate with more than 10 years experience in
\nAccounting or financial management. Knowledge of Financial systems (BAS, SAP
\nAND PERSAL). Knowledge of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations. Knowledge
\nof financial management and budgeting processes. Good analytical skill and
\ncomputer literacy. Excellent training skills. Good planning, organizing and
\ncommunication skill.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
DUTIES : Key Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to the PFMA and Treasury Regulations
\nin executing duties. Assist with budget allocation to the institutions. Ensure that
\nthe budget for institutions is allocated correctly. Capturing of budget on the
\ndepartmental accounting system. Requesting all relevant BAS report on a weekly
\nand monthly basis from all the institutions. Communicating with institutions
\nregarding the alignment of budget and expenditure. Provide training and support
\nto all institutions. Assist with monthly reports, internal and external budget audit
\nqueries, budget committee, MTEF, annual report and adjustment estimate
\nsubmissions. Assist with the maintenance and evaluation of Standard Chart of
\nAccounts (SCOA). Ensure proper filing and handle Adhoc activities as and when
\nrequested by senior managers.<\/p>\n
