\nManage the planning function of Engineering\/maintenance, site services and Production maintenance
\nAssist with budget compilation and management
\nEnsure adherence to Quality Management systems
\nMaintain master data, PM schedules and task lists on SAP
\nManage all routine maintenance tasks effectively by sourcing spares, liaising with the centralised workshop personnel and external contractors and managing the quality of the tasks performed.
\nScrutinise maintenance schedules of all equipment to improve productivity
\nPlan and ensure timeous execution of all statutory work according to the OHS Act
\nAdhere to OHS Act requirements
\nManage selected Capex and abnormal maintenance projects
\nManage people<\/p>\n
\nGrade 12
\nA trade test will be considered advantageous
\nA relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering will be considered advantageous,
\nComputer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel on an intermediate level of competency)
\nKnowledge of workshop and engineering tools will be an advantage
\nExperience in Maintenance Planning will be and advantage
\nAble to supervise the correct implementation and utilisation of administrative procedures
\nUnderstands how to interpret management information relevant to own work area
\nAble to use initiative to solve WCM process problems when they occur during implementation
\nAble to implement all the WCM process steps in own work area
\nAble to evaluate all the information and clues before making a decision.
\nCan develop alternative strategies to handle changes\/situations in own working area.
\nCan re-concentrate own ideas \/ tactics when confronted with new Information
\nIs pro-active to a certain degree and anticipates problems before they arise.
\nDeals not only with the symptoms of a problem, but searches in a creative manner for underlying reasons for the cause of the problem.
\nThe ability to plan a task or job realistically, allocating time to prioritise and building in time for contingencies.
\nThe ability to organise resources and effectively delegate tasks to maintenance teams
\nCan set controls over arrangements and follow up in own work area.
\nMust be able to function within a team environment<\/p>\n
