\n\u2022 Giving advice regarding general production principles
\n\u2022 Equipment overhauls, modifications and upgrades
\n\u2022 Preparing quotations for the required parts or installations
\n\u2022 Coordinating installation of equipment
\n\u2022 Carrying out machine maintenance audits as required
\n\u2022 Compiling audit reports with recommendations
\n\u2022 Managing in-house improvement projects
\n\u2022 Managing allocated capex and maintenance projects
\n\u2022 Assisting with planning and control of major shutdowns
\n\u2022 Ensuring all equipment and installations comply to the requirements of the OHS Act and relevant regulations
\n\u2022 Assist the Risk Department in ensuring compliance to the requirements of the OHS Act and Construction regulations<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Relevant engineering qualification (B Eng\/B Tech Mech) (essential)
\n\u2022 A Government Certificate of Competency (essential)
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of Engineering standards
\n\u2022 Exposure to world-class manufacturing and engineering practices in the FMCG industry (highly desirable)
\n\u2022 At least 5 – 8 years maintenance and project management experience, preferably in a beverage- or related production environment
\n\u2022 At least 3 years managerial experience
\n\u2022 Computer literacy (i.e. Microsoft Office, SAP PM, etc)
\n\u2022 Strong administration skills
\n\u2022 Automation and Control experience would be advantageous
\n\u2022 Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial- and statistical data
\n\u2022 Sound written & verbal communication skills with all levels of personnel
\n\u2022 Ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines
\n\u2022 Ability to work under pressure & handle conflict
\n\u2022 An action & self-driven, motivated person with strong numerical aptitude
\n\u2022 Goal & Service orientated strong team player
\n\u2022 Excellent problem solving skills
