Appointment requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n An appropriate three (3) year tertiary career-related (Degree or National Diploma) in Internal Audit or equivalent qualification <\/p>\n Personal attributes \/ competencies: <\/strong><\/p>\n Excellent communication skills; good interpersonal skills; flexible; be able to work under pressure; meet deadlines; good organization skills; ability to pay attention to detail; accurate; analytical thinker.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n Conduct a preliminary survey to obtain update background information about the activities under review <\/p>\n
\nAt least three (3) years relevant experience in an Internal Auditing environment
\nInternal Audit Technician (IAT) Learnership certificate or studying towards Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be an added advantage.
\nMember of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
\nValid Code B drivers licence
\nComputer literate<\/p>\n
\nTo conduct a walk-trough to become familiar with the activities, risks and controls to identify areas for engagement emphasis
\nDocument the system description and process flowcharts based on the interview conducted the client
\nConduct an assessment of the process under review to identify risks\/events that can prevent the business unit from achieving its operational objective
\nPrepare the audit program based on the results of the adequacy assessment conducted during the audit planning
\nExecute audit procedures and prepare audit working papers to document the audit results of the audit procedure
\nCollect and document supporting evidence to support the results of the audit work executed
\nCross reference working papers in line with the approved index
\nDraft results of the audit working papers on the reportable issues that were identified during the audit fieldwork
\nConduct audit follow-up to determine whether management has taken action or implement the recommendation<\/p>\n\n\n
