\n\u00b7 Establishing staffing needs and assisting with necessary terminations or recruitment activities
\n\u00b7 Staff induction, training and counseling
\n\u00b7 Administration of the apprentice training programme
\n\u00b7 Chairing staff meetings for purposes of briefings and consultations
\n\u00b7 Promoting a working environment that is conducive to motivation through sound human relations whilst continuing to emphasize the need for optimum productivity
\n\u00b7 Appraising performance according to laid down procedures
\n\u00b7 Disciplining where necessary
\n\u00b7 Maintaining an updated list of personnel for call-outs<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Prompt, efficient and courteous attention to customer needs
\n\u00b7 Programmed visits to appointed dealers and to customers
\n\u00b7 Ensuring that a professional image is maintained (e.g. staff personal grooming and dress, manner, and vehicle presentability) in all dealings with customers<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Maintaining up to date literature on service matters e.g. service procedures and parts topics
\n\u00b7 Dispensing literature and information to appropriate sources as and when needed
\n\u00b7 Ensuring workshop and service personnel at all times have fully updated workshop manuals
\n\u00b7 Maintaining full conversance with the Company\u2019s products and service procedures, and assisting in-house personnel and users with technical advice as required<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Accurate and timeous opening and closing of jobs
\n\u00b7 Accurate and timeous preparations of quotations for service and workshop work
\n\u00b7 Accurate and timeous checking of invoices prior to delivery to customers
\n\u00b7 Accurate and timeous submission of such reports as are required by the Branch Manager and other sources e.g. monthly problem reports<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Administering a tool control system to ensure adequacy of tooling available, security and care of tools, and that tools are in a safe and working condition at all times
\n\u00b7 Ensuring good housekeeping e.g. cleanliness and tidiness (places for things, and things neatly arranged in their places)
\n\u00b7 Proper servicing and maintenance of vehicles, which must at all times be kept roadworthy, and checking of vehicle log books to ensure against improper usages
\n\u00b7 Adherence to safety regulations, with particular emphasis on alertness and immediate response to unsafe conditions<\/p>\n
\n\u00b7 Ensures timeous (i.e. within one week of failure) and correct submission of warranty claims to Head Office
\n\u00b7 Provides input to Branch Manager for capital budget requirements
\n\u00b7 Measure performance against Workshop and Service budget e.g. parts sales and profits, labour recovery, KPI, NPS , service fixed overheads as laid down by Branch Manager
