REQUIREMENTS :<\/p>\n

\u2022 A relevant 3 year Diploma \/ Degree in a related field or an equivalent NQF level 6
\nqualification with 1 years\u2019 experience in a Customer Service environment and \/ or a Grade
\n12 Certificate with 3 years\u2019 experience in a Customer Service environment \u2022 A postgraduate
\nqualification will serve as an added advantage \u2022 Experience in a Public
\nAdministration or Sales Office environment with proven experience in managing a small
\nteam is essential \u2022 Knowledge of the Immigration Act , Refugee Act as well as the Public
\nService Act and Regulations \u2022 Awareness of the rights within the South African
\nConstitution \u2022 Understanding of the Departmental legislation and Human Resources
\npolicies and prescripts \u2022 Leading and supervising skills \u2022 Communication skills \u2022 Computer
\nliteracy and willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and\/or holidays are
\nessential \u2022 A valid driver\u2019s license will be an added advantage\u2022 Preference will be given to
\ncandidates from the local area where the post is located.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

DUTIES : The successful candidate will be responsible for, amongst others, the following specific<\/p>\n

tasks: \u2022 Monitor service delivery in accordance with internal service level standards and
\ntargets and client demands \u2022 Monitor service delivery bottlenecks, trends and errors and
\ntake corrective action \u2022 Ensure processes are executed according to Standard Operating
\nProcedures \u2022 Produce quality reports regarding turnaround times, documents processed
\nand error rates \u2022 Implement quality assurance measures to ensure quality of service
\ndelivery \u2022 Manage records \/ documentation according to DHA requirements \u2022 Deal with
\nnon-standard requests and issues from staff in the execution of their duties \u2022 Allocate work
\nto staff members and monitor their progress against daily targets or goals \u2022 Perform end of
\nday duties to ensure effective reporting, identification of issues and capturing of
\nperformance statistics \u2022 Identify challenges in operation (capacity, training, bottlenecks)
\nand make suggestions to Superiors \u2022 Render services in mobile units where required \u2022
\nOversee the performance of the staff members and identify and address minor
\nperformance problems (escalate major performance, incapacity or misconduct matters to
\nmanagement) \u2022 Facilitate and direct staff in dealing with leave and other Human
\nResources administration requirements within the unit \u2022 Coach and guide staff on
\ncompliance to all relevant regulatory, internal and external compliance requirements \u2022
\nReport all risks including e.g. overpayment, etc. according to required format to the
\nSuperior.<\/p>\n
