Airports: Cape Town<\/p>\n
Key Performance Outputs:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
Maintenance management of the mechanical infrastructure at the airport to ensure world class levels \u00c2 of availability and reliability on mechanical systems such as lifts, escalators, pumps and other mechanical equipment.<\/li>\n
Control and Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets.<\/li>\n
Management of contractors and SLA\u00e2\u0080\u0099s (Service Level Agreements).<\/li>\n
Co-ordinate and conduct meetings with contractors and stakeholders.<\/li>\n
Adhere to safety compliance standards.<\/li>\n
Coordinating contractor activities during normal hours and after hours where required.<\/li>\n
Compiling maintenance specifications and tender documents.<\/li>\n
Conduct Root Cause Analysis on incidents and compile technical reports.<\/li>\n
Follow-up on logged Help Desk queries.<\/li>\n
Compile monthly service level reports.<\/li>\n
Performing inspections and technical quality audits.<\/li>\n
Planning and managing maintenance related projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Technical Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
Grade 12 and a National Diploma: Mechanical Engineering and\/or equivalent prior learning.<\/li>\n
Experience based on the job requirements within the position.<\/li>\n
Minimum of 5 years relevant working knowledge and experience in the field of mechanical equipment maintenance.<\/li>\n
Working knowledge and experience in tendering procedures, project management, budget and contract management.<\/li>\n
Contract management experience is essential.<\/li>\n
Code 08 drivers licence.<\/li>\n
Knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or similar would be advantageous.<\/li>\n
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages is a\u00c2 requirement.<\/li>\n
Knowledge of airport operations would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
