{"id":17662,"date":"2014-05-17T02:37:32","date_gmt":"2014-05-17T00:37:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=17662"},"modified":"2016-11-10T16:32:38","modified_gmt":"2016-11-10T14:32:38","slug":"absa-barclays-bank-bursary-programme-20142015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/absa-barclays-bank-bursary-programme-20142015.html","title":{"rendered":"ABSA \/ Barclays Bank Bursary Programme 2014\/2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>We welcome applications from graduates who:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>have not received any other bursary or financial assistance<br \/>\nare registered at a recognised Tertiary Education Institution in South Africa<br \/>\nare Pan African citizens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifying criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The bursary programme is for students studying towards one of the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bachelor or postgraduate degree in:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting (towards CA(SA) or CIMA or ACCA)<\/li>\n<li>Actuarial Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Mathematical Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Informatics<\/li>\n<li>Statistics<\/li>\n<li>Risk or Investment Management<\/li>\n<li>Agricultural Sciences majoring in Agricultural Economics<\/li>\n<li>Engineering (Industrial, Financial or Process)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Postgraduate and undergraduate university students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants must be eligible to register and study full-time for the 2015 academic year at an accredited South African university towards one of the qualifications listed above<br \/>\nUndergraduate students must have achieved a minimum average of 70% in the first semester of their degree studies for the 2014 academic year<br \/>\nApplicants must not have a criminal record<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/joinus.barclays.com\/africa\/bursaries\/bursary-programme\/\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Applications open will close 31st July 2014.
