{"id":17666,"date":"2014-05-09T13:06:29","date_gmt":"2014-05-09T11:06:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=17666"},"modified":"2014-05-09T13:06:29","modified_gmt":"2014-05-09T11:06:29","slug":"abantu-resources-branch-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/abantu-resources-branch-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Abantu Resources: Branch Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is looking for a Branch Manager to provide operational and personnel support, to deliver efficient and cost-effective functionality and sustained profitability of the business operation and to ensure the smooth and optimum running \/ use of company infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Knowledge and Skills Required: Grade 12, certificate in Logistics \/ Transportation management.MINIMUM 5 years EXPERIENCE in Logistics and or WarehousingGood communication and negotiation skills.Ability to anticipate and solve problems \/ queries practically.Proven reasoning and analytical skills.Team player who displays initiative.Good interpersonal skills.Hard worker \u2013 must have managerial \/ leadership skillsMust be able to work long hours.Must have own transportLogistics \/ Transport backgroundComputer Literacy<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Area<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic business management &#8211; Implement and support strategic plans<\/li>\n<li>Operations Management &#8211; Manage business operations<\/li>\n<li>Organic growth Management &#8211; Assisting with management of Continental contract in regards to: Costing \/ quotes, Budget, Customer relations, Analyze and access customer needs, and Interacting with customers<\/li>\n<li>Maintain sound corporate governance &#8211; Reflect corporate values<\/li>\n<li>People Management &#8211; Manage all staff including staff related issues i.e. Disciplinary, Overtime etc<\/li>\n<li>Customer Relations Management &#8211; Control all areas relating to customer service<\/li>\n<li>Systems Implementation Management &#8211; Monitor and evaluate operational systems<\/li>\n<li>Administration Management &#8211; Oversee administration management process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Duties and Responsibilities: Perform other duties as and when requested, by Department head and manager within own area of abilities and responsibilities.
