REQUIREMENTS : Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor\u2019s degree\/National Diploma in
\nEnvironmental\/Biological\/Agricultural Sciences or Matric coupled with 10 years\u2019
\nexperience in natural resources management<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Deliver service in the Permit Office with regard to the issuing of permits for the invasive
\nalien species, in terms of the NEMBA Regulations and the risk assessments process.
\nServe as the first contact point for external and internal clients with regard to invasive alien
\nspecies permits. Conduct literature searches to ensure correct scientific names are
\nallocated to permit applications. Liaise and give advice to stake holders pertinent for the
\npermitting of invasive alien species. Establish and maintain a register of all permits,
\nincluding integrated permits, issued by that issuing Authority all risk assessments that
\nhave been carried out in terms of sections 65(2) and 71(2) of the National Environmental
\nManagement: Biodiversity Act, 2004<\/p>\n
