The successful candidate will be based at the Westmead Biscuit Factory reporting to the Strategic Sourcing function.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tTo assist in Packaging development of new and existing products according to marketing requests and technical standards<br \/>\n\u2022\tTo assist \/ conduct plant trials<br \/>\n\u2022\tTo assist in the administration of projects (Costing, legal packaging requirements)<br \/>\n\u2022\tTo liaise with the Innovations Manager and Packaging Technologist with regards to project brief<br \/>\n\u2022\tTo assist the Packaging Technologist with the design and development of packaging with regards to various projects<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tGood communication and people skills<br \/>\n\u2022\tDemonstrated problem solving abilities<br \/>\n\u2022\tComputer Literacy<br \/>\n\u2022\tAnalytical ability<br \/>\n\u2022\tMotivational skills<br \/>\n\u2022\tExcellent customer service orientation<br \/>\n\u2022\tPerformance driven<br \/>\n\u2022\tTeam Spirit<\/p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tAbility to work with machinery and packaging equipment<br \/>\n\u2022\tKnowledge of ISO 9001.2000 and HACCP<br \/>\n\u2022\tMust be prepared to undergo packaging technology or other relevant courses<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tPreferred requirement &#8211; National Diploma in Packaging Technology<br \/>\n\u2022\tAt least one year experience in the FMCG or Packaging industry<\/p>\n<p>Use your National Diploma in Packaging Technology and minimum 1 year experience in the Packaging Technology Field within a Food and or Packaging Company to secure a stable career within Snackworks.<\/p>\n<p>Snackworks is responsible for the biscuit and snacking portfolio under AVI.
