Objectives<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Provide health care to employees and maintain occupational health systems, programmes and procedures to comply to all legal and regulatory requirements, achieve PetroSA strategic objectives and maintain the good health of employees<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Outputs<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Execute medical procedures and document results according to PetroSA and regulatory requirements to comply with PetroSA policies and legislative requirements
\n\u2022 Capture and update information in the Occupational Health Management system across operations sites to comply with legislative requirements and to track medical results
\n\u2022 Maintain the Health Surveillance System according to the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) requirements and standards to ensure compliance with the DMR requirements
\n\u2022 Schedule PetroSA employees for risk based medical examinations to ensure the optimal health of employees
\n\u2022 Execute designated medical audit checklist tasks such as; ordering and controlling of medicines and oxygen, auditing the emergency trolley equipment, ambulance and trailer and emergency equipment and other reasonable requests to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and the delivery of an efficient and effective medical services
\n\u2022 Provide primary health services (including family planning; preventative healthcare etc) and provide referrals for further medical care where relevant, to maintain a healthy work environment
\n\u2022 Report for standby duty and perform all required emergency medical services and administer medication where appropriate, to secure employees in a emergency situation and maintain the good health of employees
\n\u2022 Contain expenditure within the budget guidelines to ensure that funds are optimally utilised in service delivery
\n\u2022 Provide consultative expertise on chronic and other occupational health diseases and health counselling services, to promote awareness of occupational health in operations E&P<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/strong>
\n\u2022 National Diploma (NQF 6) in Nursing (General) AND NQF6 Post-Basic
\n\u2022 Diploma in Occupational Health
\n\u2022 Registered with the South African Nursing Council
\n\u2022 Audiometry certificate
\n\u2022 Spirometry certificate
\n\u2022 Dispensing license<\/p>\n

Experience<\/strong>
\n\u2022 2 Years work experience as a Junior Occupational Health Practitioner
