\ndepth of 747 meters using mechanized trackless block-cave mining.<\/p>\n

Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible to maintain equipment according to sound engineering practice and
\nequipment specifications.<\/p>\n
Tasks and Responsibilities:
\n\uf0b7 Responsible for daily inspection of plant equipment, maintenance of screens ,feeders, crushers ,conveyors and related
\nequipment
\n\uf0b7 Report all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery to supervisor
\n\uf0b7 Communicate with supervisors to inform on maintenance activities performed and re-start of equipment
\n\uf0b7 Investigate, diagnose and perform trade related maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery according to maintenance
\nrequirements
\n\uf0b7 Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health Safety Act regulations, manufacturing and Company standards
\n\uf0b7 Develop, modify, construct and install related equipment required for the safe operation of all engineering equipment
\n\uf0b7 Identify spares requirements and order according to departmental procedure
\n\uf0b7 Required to work according to the Mine\u2019s Code of Practice and report any observations of this not being done
\n\uf0b7 Ensure personal and co-workers\u2019 adherence and compliance to Security and Company SHE objectives
\n\uf0b7 Work overtime, do standby and be available for call-outs should the need arise<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:
\n\uf0b7 Qualified Fitter with Trade Certificate at recognized \/accredited institution
\n\uf0b7 Valid Public Drivers\u2019 License Code EB (08)
\n\uf0b7 Minimum of 2 years post trade test experience as a Fitter
\n\uf0b7 Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience on Cone crusher maintenance<\/p>\n
Other Skills\/Competencies:
\n\uf0b7 Good verbal and written communication skills in English
\n\uf0b7 Pass Vienna Assessment (Level 2) \u2013 (test to be done on mine)
\n\uf0b7 Independent, proactive thinking and have the ability to do own job planning
\n\uf0b7 High level of multi-skilling<\/p>\n
