Job purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n To facilitate investigations and inspections to ensure compliance with Liquor Laws.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Requirements:<\/strong> <\/p>\n Key performance areas:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Ensure information provided to call-client is relevant and up to date with the current changes; <\/p>\n Note: Only shortlisted applicants will receive further correspondence. \n\u2022 An appropriate B – Degree\/ National Diploma (or equivalent qualifications) – NQF 6 with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience; or
\n\u2022 Grade 12 (or equivalent qualifications) – NQF 4 with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
\nRecommendation:
\n\u2022 Helpdesk\/ Call\/ On-line Certificate;
\n\u2022 Experience within a regulatory environment.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Liaison with Authority management, line managers, departmental officials and external clients where necessary.
\n\u2022 Gather relevant content;
\n\u2022 Provide immediate assistance to clients;
\n\u2022 Ensure optimal customer relations management;
\n\u2022 Select and manage relevant information resources;
\n\u2022 Act as a referral agency, referring more complex enquiries to the relevant back-office;
\n\u2022 Collect, classify and capture all incoming information on database;
\n\u2022 Interact with other departments, agencies, and resource centres, other components regarding information product development, service delivery and maintenance.
\nCompetencies:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the following:
\no Client care and information management;
\no Functions, programs and projects of the WCLA;
\no Information in the liquor domain;
\no Policies and legislation
\no Internal and external marketing and communication processes;
\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape;
\n\u2022 Good planning and organising skills.<\/p>\n
