\nTo provide a general administration support service.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Grade 12 (or equivalent qualification) – NQF 4;
\n\u2022 A valid driver’s licence.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A minimum of 1 year relevant experience;
\n\u2022 Secretariat experience.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Provide secretarial and administrative support
\n\u2022 Ordering and tracking of goods and services in line with departmental policies and procedures
\n\u2022 Maintaining filing systems and ensuring the safekeeping of all correspondence
\n\u2022 Attend, record and transcribe minutes of meetings
\n\u2022 Organise meetings, make travel arrangements including the processing of travel and subsistence claims
\n\u2022 Preparation and distribution of documents for meetings
\n\u2022 Assisting with monitoring and reporting on Sub-Directorate’s Budget & Expenditure
\n\u2022 Monitoring and assisting with quarterly performance reporting
\n\u2022 Liaising with municipalities and other Directorate clients.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A good understanding of the following:
\no Integrated Development Planning policy, legislation and guiding manuals;
\no Basic Financial Management and Public Financial Management legislation;
\no Integrated Development Planning environment;
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of Integrated Development Planning (IDP);
\n\u2022 Good communication (written and verbal) skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape;
\n\u2022 Proven computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Email).<\/p>\n
