REQUIREMENTS : \u2022 A relevant 3 year Diploma\/Degree or 3 year NQF level 6 in a related field with
\n1-2 years\u2019 in a Customer Service environment and\/or a Grade 12 Certificate with
\n5 years\u2019 experience in a Customer Service environment of which 2 years must at
\na management level \u2022 A post-graduate qualification will be an an added
\nadvantage \u2022 Knowledge of Workflow planning and capacity planning \u2022 Knowledge
\nof Civic Services Regulations, Immigration Act and Refugee Act will be an added
\nadvantage \u2022 Knowledge and understanding of the Public Service prescripts and
\nthe South African Constitution \u2022 Experience in resource management as well as
\nunderstanding of Human Resources legislations and prescripts, Occupational
\nHealth and Safety Act, Financial Management, Public Finance Management Act
\n(PFMA) and Treasury Regulations \u2022 Computer literacy with working knowledge of
\nMS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint \u2022 A valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : The successful candidate will be responsible for, amongst others, the following
\nspecific tasks: \u2022 Manage effective operations within the District Office \u2022 Develop
\nand maintain a plan complemented by action plans for service delivery in the
\nOffice \u2022 Provide inputs and advice on policy development and ensure the
\neffective implementation thereof \u2022 Revisit, review and streamline all processes to
\nensure accuracy and efficiency in providing Civic and Immigration services \u2022
\nDevelop, interpret and manage statistical information on service standards,
\nthroughout times, bottlenecks, volumes and error rates \u2022 Ensure the effective and
\nuniform implementation of Standard Operating Procedures \u2022 Inform the Regional
\nManager about work progress, problems and corrective measures applied \u2022
\nEnsure sound financial and revenue management within the Office in line with
\nthe PFMA and Treasury Regulations \u2022 Provide inputs into the IS infrastructure
\nplanning and management and ensure effective implementation \u2022 Ensure
\neffective risk and compliance management by physically inspecting and
\nconducting office based auditing of procedures and controls \u2022 Establish and
\nmanage relationships with all relevant stakeholders to support service delivery in
\nthe office \u2022 Attend to and ensure resolution of enquiries and\/or complaints.<\/p>\n
