REQUIREMENTS : Matric Certificate or National Certificate (Vocational), A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in
\nSocial Work, Registration with the South African Council for Social Services
\nProfession as Social Worker, plus a minimum of 8 years appropriate experience
\nin Social Work after registration as Social Worker with SACSSP. A valid driver\u2019s
\nlicense. Knowledge: Working knowledge of Public Service, Policy Analysis and
\ndevelopment, Public Service Regulations and relevant act, Labour Relations Act,
\nPublic Service Act, Interpretation of Statutes, Administrative Law, Research
\nmethodology, Treasury Regulations and PFMA, Organization behavior analysis,
\nStrategic business management. Skills: Planning and organizing, Networking,
\nCommunication (written and verbal), Co-ordination, Professional counseling,
\nAnalytical Thinking, Monitoring and Evaluation, Problem Solving, Report Writing,
\nFinancial Management, Project Management, Team Building, Policy Analysis
\nand Development, Presentation, People Management, Ability to compile complex
\nreport skills.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Develop, implement and maintain HIV\/AIDS Prevention Services policies,
\nGuidelines and relevant Frameworks. Keep up to date with new developments in
\nthe HIV\/AIDS Prevention Services. Research, development, monitoring and
\nevaluation and perform the administrative functions required in the unit.<\/p>\n
