\nCENTRE : Head Office: Pietermaritzburg<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS : Matric Certificate or National Certificate (Vocational), A relevant Bachelor\u2019s
\nDegree in Social Work, Registration with the South African Council for Social
\nServices Profession as Social Worker. Minimum of 8 years appropriate
\nexperience in Social Work after Registration as Social Worker with the SACSSP.
\nKnowledge & Skills: National Victim Empowerment Policy, All relevant public
\nservice prescripts; KZN Provincial Growth and Development Strategy; Millennium
\nDevelopment goals; White Paper on Social Welfare Services; Social Service
\nProfessions Act 110 of 1978 as amended; Draft Policy on Social Service
\nProfessions; Framework for Social Welfare Services; Professional Compliance
\nFramework for Social Welfare Services; Careers Fair Strategy; Integrated Social
\nDevelopment Strategy; Recruitment and Retention Strategy for Social Welfare
\nServices; Generic Business Processes for Social Welfare; Supervision
\nFramework in Social Welfare Services; Human Rights in the delivery of Social
\nWelfare Services; The Constitution of Republic of South Africa; Non-Profit
\nOrganisations Act; Policy on Financial Awards 2005; Promotion of Equality and
\nPrevention of Unfair Discrimination Act (PEPUDA); Promotion of Access to
\nInformation Act No 2 of 2000 (PAIA) and Promotion of Administrative Justice Act
\nof 2000 (PAJA), Project Management, Networking, Communication (written and
\nverbal), Professional Counseling, Presentation, Monitoring and Evaluation.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Develop\/review policy guidelines in respect of Victim Empowerment; Manage the
\nVictim Empowerment Forums; Conduct\/ co-ordinate training and capacity
\nbuilding on policy, strategy procedures and guideline regarding the Victim
\nEmpowerment programme; Monitor and evaluate Victim Empowerment
\nOrganization through Development Quality Assurance, Case Audits and On-Site
\nvisits to monitor compliance to Policies; Co-ordinate National and International
\nCelebrations promote and co-ordinate the strategy and programme through intersectoral
\nnetworking and collaboration; Engage in continuous professional
\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n
