SALARY : R141 894-R159 705 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Matric Certificate or National certificate (Vocational); plus a minimum of 10 years
\nappropriate experience in Child and Youth Care Work after obtaining the required
\nqualification. A valid driver\u2019s license. Knowledge: Minimum Standards,
\nPerformance Management System. Child Care Act, Batho-Pele Principles,
\nAdministrative procedures, New Development and Methodologies in Child and
\nYouth Care Work. Skills: Good Communication, Conflict Management, Problem
\nSolving, Ability to interpret policies and legislation, Planning and Organising,
\nComputer Literate, Monitoring and Evaluation, Basic research and Facilitation,
\nPeople Management and Empowerment.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Facilitate and supervise (secure) the caring for and life interventions of children
\nand young people. This would include the following actions, building positive
\nrelationship with children and young people. Create a caring and stimulating
\nenvironment for children and young people. Form part of multi-disciplinary team
\nsupervises staff to ensure an effective care services. Keep up to date with new
\ndevelopments in child and youth care field. Supervise and perform clerical\/
\nadministration functions.<\/p>\n
