{"id":17865,"date":"2014-05-28T10:10:08","date_gmt":"2014-05-28T08:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=17865"},"modified":"2014-05-28T10:10:08","modified_gmt":"2014-05-28T08:10:08","slug":"intel-technology-channel-internship-2015-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/intel-technology-channel-internship-2015-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Intel: Technology Channel Internship 2015 Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Intel is offering a fixed-term Internship position of up to 12 months for students, busy with there bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technology Channel Intern &#8211; 726534<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a fixed-term Internship position of up to 12 months in duration, candidates must be working towards a relevant Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The successful candidate&#8217;s role will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting and creating consumer sales and marketing programs for \/ with Technology Reseller \/ Retailers \/<\/li>\n<li>Distributors and Local OEM&#8217;s.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the team in the coordination and management of customer sales and marketing events.<\/li>\n<li>Periodical adaptation of global assets, tools and activities to local market.<\/li>\n<li>Managing distribution, maintenance of reseller assets, PoPs, tools to Retail \/ Distribution purchase points and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Designing Presentations in support of marketing and sales efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Utilizing media editing skills in support of marketing and sales personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be a student currently pursuing a university degree in your final year in Business Administration,<\/li>\n<li>Computer Science, Engineering (Electronic) or Marketing with a focus on Consumer.<\/li>\n<li>Pursuing Masters in Marketing or pursuing MBA is a Plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional qualifications should include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and fluency in English is required. Other languages would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of marketing, consumer, retail and ability to work and collaborate with global\/local partnerships to building integrated sales and marketing campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Microsoft* Office* skills.<\/li>\n<li>Photo and Video Editing Skills will be preferred&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>A team player.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated project management experience would be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Team player in a distributed\/dispersed structure, initiative taking and self-motivated to work with little supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Some broad IT background or technical familiarity with the current\/emerging technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic about learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Job Category: Sales<\/p>\n<p>Primary Location: South Africa-South Africa, Woodmead<\/p>\n<p>Full\/Part Time: Full Time<\/p>\n<p>Job Type: Student\/Intern<\/p>\n<p>Regular\/Temporary: Temporary<\/p>\n<p>Apply Before: Jan 23, 2015<\/p>\n<p><strong>Business Group<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Intel&#8217;s Sales and Marketing group provides world-class support at the OEM, developer and end-user levels.
