{"id":18026,"date":"2014-06-10T12:00:01","date_gmt":"2014-06-10T10:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=18026"},"modified":"2016-06-29T15:44:46","modified_gmt":"2016-06-29T13:44:46","slug":"electrical-technician-acsa-south-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/electrical-technician-acsa-south-africa.html","title":{"rendered":"Electrical Technician at ACSA South Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Airports: Cape Town<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-5\">Code\/Reference: CIA150514<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Outputs:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Managing the electricity billing system and ensure revenue collection.<br \/>\nAssisting the HOD and Engineer with the energy management and improvement in energy efficiency.<br \/>\nMonitor electrical infrastructure performance and make recommendations for improvement.<br \/>\nMonitor and manage quality of supply.<br \/>\nManaging the SCADA system on the electrical network.<br \/>\nContract and maintenance management of specialised airfield electrical systems, such as the AWOS, ILS, PAPI, etc.<br \/>\nManaging and updating electrical drawings on CAD.<br \/>\nEnsuring documentation and drawings are up to standard and are received and stored appropriately.<br \/>\nMotivating, implementing, coordinating and managing minor electrical projects where required.<br \/>\nAssisting the HOD with specialised requests and investigations.<br \/>\nAssisting the HOD with process improvement investigations and initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) compulsory and\/or equivalent prior learning and experience based on the job requirements within the position.<br \/>\nMinimum of 5 years relevant experience in an electrical engineering operating and maintenance environment.<br \/>\nKnowledge of information management systems, tools and techniques for managing and monitoring infrastructure.<br \/>\nCode 08 drivers licence.<br \/>\nMust be computer literate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Envisaged for appointment is good analytical and technical skills are a pre requisite. Highly motivated and driven individual.
