Key Performance Outputs:<\/strong><\/p>\n Managing the electricity billing system and ensure revenue collection. <\/p>\n Technical Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) compulsory and\/or equivalent prior learning and experience based on the job requirements within the position. <\/p>\n Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n Envisaged for appointment is good analytical and technical skills are a pre requisite. Highly motivated and driven individual. Self Starter with an ability to work independently within a high pressure environment<\/p>\n
\nAssisting the HOD and Engineer with the energy management and improvement in energy efficiency.
\nMonitor electrical infrastructure performance and make recommendations for improvement.
\nMonitor and manage quality of supply.
\nManaging the SCADA system on the electrical network.
\nContract and maintenance management of specialised airfield electrical systems, such as the AWOS, ILS, PAPI, etc.
\nManaging and updating electrical drawings on CAD.
\nEnsuring documentation and drawings are up to standard and are received and stored appropriately.
\nMotivating, implementing, coordinating and managing minor electrical projects where required.
\nAssisting the HOD with specialised requests and investigations.
\nAssisting the HOD with process improvement investigations and initiatives.<\/p>\n
\nMinimum of 5 years relevant experience in an electrical engineering operating and maintenance environment.
\nKnowledge of information management systems, tools and techniques for managing and monitoring infrastructure.
\nCode 08 drivers licence.
\nMust be computer literate.<\/p>\n
