Bell Equipment continues to put great emphasis on Apprenticeships and Learnerships.

Apprenticeships<\/strong> Earthmoving Equipment Apprentice Learnerships<\/strong><\/p>\n A learnership is a work-based learning programme that leads to a nationally recognised qualification that is directly related to an occupation. Learnerships combine a structured learning component with practical work experience that is acquired while being employed in a company. Learners in learnerships have to attend classes at a training centre to complete the classroom-based learning, and they also have to complete on-the-job training in a workplace.
\nAn apprenticeship is governed by an Apprenticeship Contract approved by the relevant SETA An apprenticeship is a formal structured four year training program, with the main focus on practical skills and theory gained at an institutional training centre and a technical college that leads to an artisan qualification by trade testing at end.

\nThis means that unemployed people can only participate in a learnership if there is an employer that is prepared to provide the required work experience. People entering a learnership must be at least 16 years old and younger than 35 years.
