\nREQUIREMENTS : Three year relevant tertiary qualification relating to Occupational Health and
\nHygiene. Bachelor Degree \/ National Diploma in Diving will be an advantage. A
\nfour year diving exposure and some knowledge and experience of commercial
\ndiving safety and training. Code EB valid driver\u2019s license. Water skills. Ability to
\nsatisfy the Department of Labour\u2019s medical and survival training requirements. Physically fit. Knowledge: Departmental Policies and procedures, Batho Pele Principles, Diving, Occupational Health and Safety Act .<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Formulation of policy and legislation. Inspection, investigation of accidents and
\nincidents. Enforcement of statutory requirements. Provision of information,
\nguidance and advice and attending industry events \/ shows. Identify, develop
\nand promote good practice with Stakeholders. Monitor diver competence
\nassessment organisations.<\/p>\n
