REQUIREMENTS : Diploma in Occupational Health \/ Occupational Health in Nursing. Three to five
\nyears appropriate experience gained after registration. Registration with
\nHPCSA. Knowledge: Department of Labour and Compensation Fund
\nobjectives and business functions, Compensation Fund Value Chain and
\nbusiness processes, Stakeholders and customers, Customer Service (Batho
\nPele principles) , Required IT knowledge, Risk Awareness, COIDA tariffs,
\nTechnical Knowledge. Skills: Required Technical Proficiency, Business
\nWriting, Required IT, Data Capturing, Data and records management,
\nTelephone etiquette.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Provide advice and recommendation in the acceptance of liability.
\nRecommend the approval of medical accounts. Provide medical advice on the
\nprocessing of occupational injury claims. Determine PD (Permanent Disability)
\nand TTD (Total Temporary Disability) . Assess medical accounts on
\noccupational injury claims and OD medical accounts.
