REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 (NQF4)\/ A three year tertiary qualification degree\/diploma in Public
\nManagement\/ Administration\/ Social science\/ OHS \/ Finance\/ HRM is required.
\nThree to five years\u2019 experience in a claims processing environment of
\ncompensation or medical claims is highly desirable plus supervisory
\nexperience. Knowledge: DoL and Compensation Fund objectives and business
\nfunctions, Management functions and management skills , Compensation
\nFund Services, Compensation Fund Value Chain and business processes ,
\nRelevant Fund policies, procedures and processes Human anatomy\/Biology
\nand medical terminology , Stakeholders and customers , Customer Service
\n(Batho Pele Principles) , Required IT knowledge , IT Operating Systems , Risk
\nAwareness , COID Act, Regulations and Policies , COIDA tariffs, COIDA Act,
\nRegulations and Policies Constitution Act ,DPSA guidelines on COIDA ,Mutual
\nassociation conditions and provisional settlements, Public service Act ,
\nOccupational Health and Safety Act (OHS) ,PFMA and National Treasury
\nRegulations ,General knowledge of the Public Service Regulations. Skills:
\nRequired Technical Proficiency, Numeracy, Business writing, Required IT,

DUTIES : Administer claim registration process .Adjudicate registered customer claims
\nPrepare for payment claim. Quality assurance for medical \/ accounts payments.
