REQUIREMENTS : Three year relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical \/ Electrical Engineering.
\nAn Honours Degree or B Tech Degree will be an added advantage. Valid
\ndrivers licence. Two years relevant experience. Knowledge: Departmental
\nPolicies and procedures , Batho Pele Principles, Public Service Act and
\nRegulations, OHS ACT and Regulations ,OHSAS,COIDA, ISO 18001. Skills:
\nFacilitation, Planning and Organizing, Computer literacy, Interpersonal,
\nProblem Solving, Interviewing, listening and observation, Presentation,
\nInnovative, Analytical, Research, Project management.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Conduct research into the development of Electrical and Mechanical
\nengineering policies. Analyze and assess inspections for Electrical and
\nMechanical periodically as per OHS programme. Conduct technical research
\non trends of Occupational Health and Safety in terms of Electrical and
\nMechanical. Provide administrative support to ensure that objectives of the
\ndirectorate are fulfilled.
