REQUIREMENTS : National Diploma \/ Bsc in Environmental Health \/ Occupational Health and
\nHygiene \/ Analytical Chemistry \/ Chemical Engineering. An Honours Degree or
\nB Tech Degree will be an added advantage. Valid drivers licence. Three years
\nrelevant experience. Knowledge: Departmental Policies and procedures,
\nBatho Pele Principles, Public Service Act and Regulations , OHS ACT and
\nRegulations OHSAS, COIDA , ISO 18001. Skills: Facilitation , Planning and
\nOrganizing , Computer literacy , Interpersonal , Problem Solving , Interviewing,
\nlistening and observation , Presentation , Innovative , Analytical , Research,
\nProject management.<\/p>\n

DUTIES : Conduct research into the development of Health and Hygiene policies.
\nAnalyze and assess inspections for Health and Hygiene periodically as per
\nOHS programme. Conduct technical research on trends of Occupational
\nHealth and Safety in terms of Health and hygiene. Provide administrative
\nsupport to ensure that the objectives of the directorate are fulfilled.
