Key Purpose Statement<\/strong><\/p>\n

To provide an opportunity to enrol for a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF 3. Successful
\napplicants will enter into a fixed term contract with ABI Devland Manufacturing during which they will undergo both
\non-the-job and theoretical learning, culminating in a National qualification.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS \/ EXPERIENCE
\nMinimum Matric\/N3 certificate in Engineering with Maths and Science
\nNo Experience required<\/p>\n

Output and Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Learnership is a structured learning programme that combines theoretical training and on-the-job learning in an
\nintegrated programme. The theoretical aspects of the learning are entrenched with work-based learning.
\nFurther characteristics of a Learnership are:
\n1. A Learnership leads to a national qualification registered on the (NQF) Qualification Framework.
\n2. The qualification is based on SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) registered unit standards.
\n3. The unit standards are written to reflect value adding skills required in the workplace and contains the outcomes and
\nassessment criteria.
\n4. Competence is demonstrated in the workplace utilising a variety of assessment methods and using the assessmentcriteria as the standard of performance.<\/p>\n
